Im always confused by how Boosie seems surprised by people who cooperate. It’s not just the music industry, but it’s the streets and any industry you can think of. If you look at the stats, 9 times out of 10, someone’s going to cooperate. And it’s always been like that. If you committing crimes and doing whatever you need to do to survive, why do you get surprised when the person next to you is doing whatever they need to do survive. It’s already established that you and who you’re with are willing to throw ethics out the window in order to survive. You can pick and choose what rules you want to enforce such as not snitching, but it’s been proven time and time again that there aren’t any rules, and nobody outside your family is going to care about you doing that time for not snitching. Many say they would never cooperate or snitch, but very few never do cooperate. That’s why if you’re in the streets, you need to do your best to get out as soon as you can, because jail is pretty much guaranteed at some point.
